I liked Moose, he was awesome in the backup role bringing a lot of energy and focus, but you're right, when Brodeur got injured he didn't play well in the every day role and wasn't getting any help from the offense.

If Carolina needs a backup for Cam Ward, that would be a great fit for him. Justin Peters was horrible last year.

Well as a Cats fan I naturally hate him as a a player. He's a great guy. I met him when you guys were down here for a game years ago at the practice rink. A really cool dude.

Don't think age is going to affect his production too much. Think he can still be 60-76 point player consistently. He keeps himself in great shape. Definitely worth $5.5 million.

He's definitely earned it. One, maybe two years aside, he has essentially been our best skater since the beginning of his career. God knows he's been the most consistent

I'm reading the blogs saying that the Devils will be set on d-men and are looking for a center...?

Can someone out there please remind the Devils that their d-men were bottom 5 in the league in offense? That's not cuz of their forwards either.

And a center??? We just going to have our top 9 players chase the puck around?
